Our History

The Bed and Breakfast “Borgo della Rocca”, is situated deep in the ancient Monferrato Natural Park, on top of a hill in Montemurlo, in the province of Prato. It takes its name from the local fortification called “La Rocca” built back in the X-XI century.

If you like walking, the hiking trails of the Park will give you a special opportunity to discover amazing wild orchids typical of this area.

In this wonderful quiet place our family originated and ever since has treasured its natural beauties preserving them with love and commitment which our B&B expresses so well.

The B&B “Borgo della Rocca” was completely renovated in 2013. With every possible care for the preservation of its original features, we only made it more comfortable to make your stay pleasant and relaxing.

The private garden gives a breathtaking view of the nearby cities like Prato, Pistoia and Florence. The twinkling lights in the night will rock you and the shining sun in the day will show you the amazing Florence skyline with the imposing Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral.

The relaxing quietness of “Borgo della Rocca” is a suitable place for business people who need to reflect on the work of the day or would just like to enjoy a restful night.
